Feb. 25 Tokyo's Eiffel Tower to open in December: Tokyo's Eiffel Tower is nearing completion, and will be officially opened in December by Crown Prince Akihito. The 1, 082 foot tower, 40 feet higher than the famous Paris landmark will be Tokyo's fourth T.V transmission station. A huge series of TV studios, and a scientific museum is being built in the area beneath the tower inside the four supporting legs.
