Feb. 26 First Courant Prefab built in Paris The first prefabricated house built according to construction methods know as courant system (courant is the French Minister of Construction). The house containing three rooms and a kitchen costs approximately 2, 000. It is located in the suburbs of Paris, at Kremlin-Bicetre and is first of the series. A number of such houses have already been built in Le Havre. April 25/53
