Mar. 22 Home of The Brabazon And Britannia. Exterior view of the gigantic Assembly hall of the Bristol Aeroplane Co. the largest building of its kind in the world. Inside are the Bristol Brabazon, the largest civil land-plane in the world, the prototype Britannia ans beside it the second Britannia which is being built in pre-fabrication form. It is a three-bay steel framed structure. The mass of windows combined with clerestory and roof lighting gives comfortable daylight working conditions all over the building through out the year. In front of the Hall is the Bristol Aeroplane Co's special hand-made saloon car called the Bristol of which only three are made a week
