Mar. 27 The escape of the former SS col. Herbert Kappler has had one consequence in the reinforcement of the surveillance of the other prisoner of war in Italy, the former major of the Wermatch Walter Reder, imprisoned for life for his action against the little town of Marza botto (center Italy) where about 1800 boys, women and olds were killed by the soldiers of the Major Reders.
