Mar. 03, 1960 - This is the new light house Red Sand': The 75 year old light house Roter Sand (Red Sand in the outer Weser, well known to all sailors will have to be displaced by a new one as the foundation is not alright anymore. Photo shows the model of the new light house which will be erected in April 1960, and it will be finished in spring 1962. It will be 61 metres high and be fitted with all modern equipment, including a radar installation
