Jul. 07, 1960 - Aluminum American Eagle For New Embassy Building: The sculptured aluminum eagle which is to be mounted on the new American Embassy building in Grosvenor Square, is now being put together at a Tower Bridge Road Warehouse. The eagle, has a wing span of 35 ft and a height of 9 ft. When erected it will overhang the building by 5ft. It weighs 2, 000 lbs, and cost 4, 000.
