Jan. 01, 1961 - £36, 000, 000 scheme for a new Covent Garden': A £36, 000, 000 scheme to shift Covent Garden Market to a new site was explained today by the architect 69 year old Mr. Charles Glover, at a luncheon at the Cafe Royal. A powerful Industrial Group is backing the scheme for a new huge building complete with helicopter landing space on top on stilts over railway sidings outside King's Cross Station.
