Dec. 12, 1964 - Water for the Roman occupation forces in Germania were partly reconstructed to show what skill 2000 years ago was seen in Roman architecture. Some 105 kilometers of these channels were built between fountains in the Eifel to the fortresses of the roman legion West and East og the Rhine. The main water line ended in. Cologne which once was headquarters of the Roman legions. Photo shows a reconstructed bridge of the water channel system near Wallmuth
