Nov. 11, 1962 - LCC's one-Hour Houses Erected: The first of a series of new-style London County Council Houses which take less than an hour to erect were put up in Florida Street, Bethnal Green, this afternoon. The homes, which cost1, 240 each to build and rent at3 a week, are part of the LCC's programme to provide 2, 000 mobile house by the end of next year. Picture Shows: One half of one of the new houses is lowered into position in a matter of minutes
