May 05, 1966 - Tackling A Tough Task: High above the bleak Flyingdale Moor, eleven steeplejacks are tackling the toughest job of their career - watched by security guards. The men, hand picked from the firm of P.C. Richardson, of Middlesbrough, are specialists in the art of painting and sealing the most difficult types of jobs, but his one provided them with a headache - painting the three massive golf ball early warning radar domes 160 feet up in the North Yorkshire moors - at the Ballistic Missile Early Wrning Station at Flyingdale.
