Feb. 02, 1967 - The Rueere tree plant that reaches the ceiling: Grandmother used to have an aspidistra on the sideboard, but today people who like a little bit of jungle indorses prefer the rubber plant - Latin name discus elastiea - Lily and osari Kretsasky have one in their dining room at Dinas Powis, near Cardiff, which has reached 10ft. high and euches the ceiling. Their niece, Avril Kaye, aged 18, sometimes dusts it for them but they will seeh have to decide whether to let the plant keep growing or to out it down. photo shows Avril Kaye dusting the 10ft. high rubber plant
