Jun. 06, 1968 - London Bridge Is Going. Numbered sections of London Bridge being swung into the hold of the Norwegian freighter, Fossum, 3, 879 tons, at Surrey Commercial Docks. The vessel is due to sail for Los Angeles on Friday with the first 850-ton shipment of stonework from the bridge, to be rebuilt at Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The 10, 000-ton, 136-year-old bridge, was bought foe about £1 million and will be imported duty free because the United States Customs deem it a large antique
