1970 - Works on the Munich Olympic Site......are in full swing. Focal points on the building site are the future sports hall and the Olympic stadium, . It is intended to finish the sports hall in the rough by August 15th, 1970. This has all is though for different purposes, During the Olympic games 1972 the Competitions the gymnasts and the indoor games handball final will take place there. It comprises 7000 seats and 4000 standing places. In the Olympic stadium there is place for ca. 80, 000 spectators. There the opening and termination ceremonies will take place, moreover almost all athletics events and some more events take place.
