Feb. 02, 1971 - 564 days until the Olympic Games in Munich (Germanny): the work wit the steel cables for the huge tent-roof has started Until the end of the year the most important parts of this discussed construction shall have been erected. Amongst others not less than 137.000 cable knots have to been made. The first part of the impressive steel cable construction will cover the three main sports grounds which are wrapped up with plexiglass.
