Jun. 06, 1971 - First Plastic Seats Being Set Up In Olympic Stadium No benches shall be set up in Munich's Olympic stadium - Germany - but comfortable plastic seats, some of which were recently tested. The seats, are exactly adjusted to the human back and are big enough. About 43, 500 plastic seats are to be set up in the stadium which has been built for about 80, 000 people. Those, who cannot profit of these comfortable seats have to watch the games standing. However there are no arms as they would be inconvenient in case of a panic. On our photo two Olympiad-hostesses are testing the first set up plastic seats. In the background the mast of the just installed floodlight can be seen
