Mar. 03, 1972 - The Winning Model of the New Parliamentary Building the result of the Commonwealth Architectural Competition: Mr. Julian Amery, Minister for Housing and Construction held a press conference at the Houses of Parliament today to announce the result of the Commonwealth architectural competion for a new Parliamentary building in Bridge Street, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The new building will provide rooms for 450 members and their secretaries as well as other facilities.
