1971 - Model Church made form the war time stone from the bombed House of Commons: A model of a church has been made from stone taken from the Houses of Common which was bombed during world war two. the builder 10 Ted Truss who likes to do thing in a small way. But he gets big idears like shaping an exact stone replica of Little Wakering Church, Essex/ The result, as you can see, is a tiny marvel. The model is three feet high and aven has a font, pulpit, altar and rowa of pews inside. The roof lifts off to display the interior details in exactly the same position as those in the 1190 church.
