Apr. 24, 1971 - April 24th 1971 He makes models of typical Czech Folk architecture Ancient times are revived in the hands of Vaclav Prochazka, from Dobriv near Rokycany, West Bohemia, who hobby is making models of ancient houses. He works as a fireman in an iron works and gives up all his spare time making exact models of inns, cottages windmills and other folk buildings from the 18th century. He makes them with thousands of skewers, paper and veneering wood. The models show mostly a typical Czech folk architecture, which is so much admired by tourists and which are gradually disappearing from the Czech villages by the new civilization wave.
