Aug. 08, 1971 - Out of small stones 34-year-old Hartel from Cologne (West-Germany) has copied many histeric buildings already: palaces, castles, churches etc. His last work is the imitation of the ducal palace in Venince (photo), which took him 80 hours. He owns about 15.000 of those little special stones (which aren't produced anymore nowadays and therefor are very difficult to get and very expensive). After he has finished one model, he photographs it- after a short time he breaks it up again to have material for new works
