Feb. 02, 1978 - Iron age village: In March 1977 twelve men and women and three children left the 20th century and began to live the lives of Ancient Britons in the third Century BC at a secret location in the West of England. Their experiment at living as Iron Age tribesmen has been televised and is shown on Thursday nights. Over the year they have learned to be almost completely self sufficient, producing their own food and practicing the ancient skills of pottery, weaving and metal work. Foa all this time they have had to manage without the comforts of modern civilasation, but they all say that they are sorry to leave.
