May 05, 1980 - CONGRESS-HALL OF BERLIN COLLAPSED With a hollow rumble at May 22nd, 1980 the wellknown Congress-Hall of Berlin crashed down. Rescue-brigades safed 5 injured persons out of the confusion of stones, concrete and steel-girders. 115 persons could escape in the last moment out of the tumbling down plant. The Congress-Hall built in 1957 tumbles down probably by material fatigue. Ops: The Congress-Hall of Berlin, called Pregnant Oyster by the vernacular after it's inauguration in 1957
