1962 - Philip has the job of Untaming the golden eagle; The golden eagle is a rare bird on these shores and even rarer, is a tame one. Crofter Donald Mac Isaac of Benbecukak (North Scotland) was responsible for catching one. He tamed her and gave her the name Mrs, Murdoch - and she is 11 months old. The authorities heard about Mrs. Murdoch birds so back to nature she must go. The job of preparting Mrs. Murdoch to return to her natural state has been given to Philip Glazier of Whiteface, or Bonar Ridge, Sutherland. Glazier is better known as James Robertson Justice's Falconer and he will begin his task as soon as there is a profusion of young and inexperienced pray in the area and he believes he can complete the training in six weeks.
