1962 - Phillip Has The Job Of Untaming The Golden Eagle: The Golden Eagle is a rare bird on these shores - and even rarer- is a tame one. Crofter Donald MacIsaac of Benbecula (North Scotland) was responsible for catching and taming Mrs. Murdoch as his 11 months old Eagle is called. But the authorities heard about Mrs. Murdoch - and informed Donald that Golden Eagles are Protected Birds - so - back-to-nature she must go. The job of preparing Mrs. Murdoch to return to her natural state has been given to Phillip Glazier of Whitefacem near Bonar Ridge, Sutherland. Glazier is botter known as James Robertson Justice's Falconer - and will begin his task as soon as there is a profusion of young and inexperienced pray in the area.
