Feb. 02, 1966 - Biggest Floods In Argentine History The north and Northwest provinces of Argentina: Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes and Santa Fe, especially the first mentioned two provinces are suffering from the worst inundations in Argentine history. The waters of the river Parana and its tributaries are still growing and flooding cities and vast areas forcing the evacuation of nearly 100, 000 people and causing the loss of many of the countries best cattle. An airlift has been set-up to help evacuation and speedy vaccination against epidemics. OPS: Medical station of the Argentine army in Formosa province, where children are being vaccinated
