Argentina - Falkland Islands - Paraguay
Jan. 01, 1966 - Installations were wrecked and other damage caused by crowds who went wild after the result of a horse race at the San Isidro track, near Buenos Aires recently. The race had been won by a horse which until then had finished last in all its races - and the crowd protested against the result in no uncertain manner. Subsequent racing had to be abandoned. Photo shows The main race-indicator comes under attack by protesting racegoers - and parts of it are seen flying through the air
