Feb. 29 WITH PROUD ARGENTINA REMEMBERS ITS NATIONAL DAY. Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 25th 1976: This day called 25 do Mayo'was celebrated for the first time since the fall of the peronist ragime. It remembers every year the day when in 1819 Argentina had its first own goverment after it was previously a colony. Acyualy argentina is governed by a democratic military Junta and the heads of the goverment assited the main celebrations at Plaza de Mayo where are siurated the Goverment House and the Metropolitan Cahtodral where the Tedeum took place
