Oct. 10, 1953 - Argyll And Sutherland Highlanders Get Ready To Leave For British Guiana: The 1st. Batt. The Argyll and Sutherland High-landers now station at Redford Barracks, Edinburgh are sailing to British Guiana on Saturday, to help combat the Communist factions that now menace the peace of the colony.
