Jan. 01, 1967 - Arkle Has Vital X-Ray Today. Arkle the famous Irish jumper who broke a bone in his foot during the King George VI Steeplechase at Kempton Part on December 27th when he finished second to Dormant, today has the plaster removed from his leg and an X Ray taken to see one way or the other to see if he will be able to race again at the Kempton Park Racecourse Stables.
