Oct. 10, 1956 - Terrorism in Cyprus: This summer the counter-terrorist forces in Cyprus captured a large number of documents, photographs and other equipment belonging to the terrorist organization EOKA (Ethniki Organosis Kyprion Agoniston - National Organization of Cypriot Combatants). A small fraction of these has been reprinted in a recently published booklet under the title of Terrorism in Cyprus. Here are some of the illustrations from the booklet. Photo shows Terrorists. Top left: Archbishop Makarios whose connection with the EOKA is established by the capture of the diaries of Colonel George Grivas whose importation from Greece to lead the terrorists is also established by the diaries.
