Feb. 02, 1959 - Mr. Menderes Is Survivor Of Air Crash 12 killed: 12 people were killed when the airliner carrying the Turkish Prime Minister, Mr. Menderes, crashed near Gatwick this evening after being diverted from london Airport. Mr. Menderes escaped serious injury, ans was taken to the London Clinic, as also was Mr. Sefik Fennmen, Mr. Menderes private Secretary who was also a survivor of the crash.
