Mar. 27 Admiral Nejat Tumer: Born in Uskudar in 1924. He has graduated from the Naval War School as a Desk Officer in 1944, from the Naval War Academy in 1955. Before assuming the Office of the Commander of the Fleet he has served in different ranks of the Naval Forces. He has become an Admiral in 1978. Presently he is the Commander of the Naval Forces He speaks English, is married with two children
