Oct. 10, 1960 - Turkey's Ex-Leaders To Face Trial This Week Court To Meet On The Island Of Yassidia: The trials of leading members of the former regime in Turkey are due to begin on Friday on the island of Yassidia, in the Sea of Marmora. The principal accused are ex-President Bayar, and Mr. Menderes, the former Prime Minister, and Mr. Zorlu, ex-Foreign Minister. A large number of former Cabinat Ministers and the greater part of the Democratic members of the last Parliament, are also on trial. The principal charge will be that of violation of the constitution.
