Following the flag refusal of PRESIDENT MAKARIOS of CYPRUS to accept the Anglo-Amerioan peace plane for the troubled island, it is reported that TURKEY id preparing the port of ISKAUDERUN for an invasion foroe, (the port is only 100 miles from the CYPRUS coast). In the Turkish capital of ANKARA, the Prime Minister SUET INONU spent nearly two hours in consultation with GENERAL CEVDET SUNAY, Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed ioroe - although, t was afterwards olsimed that the talks were purely routine
