Armenia - Cyprus - Syria - Turkey
Oct. 10, 1960 - Turkey's ex leader on trial this week court to meet on the island of Yassidia. The trials of leading members of the former regime in turkey are due to begin on Friday on the island of Yassidia, in the sea of Marmora. The principal accused are ex President Bayar, Menderes the former Prime Minister, and Zorlu, ex Foreign Minister. A large number of former Cabinet Ministers and the greater part of Democratic members of the last Parliament are also on trial. The principal charge will be that on violation of the constitution.
