Nov. 11, 1960 - Trials Of Former Turkish Leaders Begin Today: The trials begin today on the island of Yassiada of leading members of the former regime in Turkey. The principal accused are Ex-President Bayar, Mr. Menderes, the former Prime Minister, and Mr. Zorlu, ex-Foreign Minister. A large number of former Cabinet Ministers and the greater part of the Democratic members of the last Parliament, are also on trial.
