1970 - Pictured here is an aid package of blankets at the Bonn Airport before it is flown to Turkey to aid earthquake victims. Over 2, 000 died and 90, 000 were made homeless by the natural disaster. People were encouraged to send blankets, medications, and other helpful things. The German Army and the Red Cross got involved
