Aug. 30, 1973 - August 30th 1973 Kidnapped Cypriot Minster of Justice freed The Cypriot Minister of Justice Mr. Christos Vakis, said he was treated well by the kidnappers who held him for a month and released him on Sunday night. He said he did not see Gen. Grivas, leader of the EOKA guerrillas whose supporters abducted him at gunpoint from his Nicosia home on July 27.
