Jul. 07, 1957 - Annual Royal Engineers Demonstration: For the first time the Annual Royal Engineers Demonstration was held this year at the School of Military Engineering, Chatham. A number of pieces of equipment such as the Heavy and Light Assault Floating Bridges were on view for the very first time.
