1975 - Astronomical observatory on Rozhen Peak. The biggest astronimical aservatory on the Balkan peninsula is being built on the Rozhen Peak in the Rhodopes. The project was made by Czechoslovak specialists. The observatory will be equipped with a telescope from karl - Zeiss- Jena which will have a mirror - 2 meters in diameter. The construction is done by the Plovsiv building corporation Transstroi. The technical leader of the construction workers promised to deliver the observatory by the time fixed- September 1978. The best workers are the builders from the team of Radan Veslinov who regularly overfulfil their square 130 per cent.
