Mar. 31, 1958 - First Picture Of The Soviet Rocket -Launched In May 1957: Pictures of the Soviet Rocket - that was sent into the outer atmosphere in May 1957 - have just been released by the Soviet Authorities. The rocket weighed 2200 Kg. containing a dog Molniza - and reached the height of 212 KM. It returned safely to earth.
