Jan. 05, 1959 - 5-1-59 Space Model on TV programme On the B.B.C. Television programme Panorama tonight, there will be shown a model designed by Mr. Kenneth W. Gatland, of a space vehicle capable of letting itself down from a rocket orbiting the moon, which, Mr. Gatland, who is vice-chairman of the British Interplanetary Society believes would, with the proper backing, soon become a reality. The space vehicle is called Migrant. The name being derived from the initials of Moon Instrumented Guided Rocket and Notifying Transmitter. Keystone Photo Shows: Mr. Kenneth W.
