Hands By Remote Control: Tests are currently underway to develop ways for astronauts to use mechanical hands in outer space. A slave machine has to work with a spaceman handicapped by a bulky pressurised suit. Will Jackson of the Argonne Remote Control Engineering company in Illinois, is seen here testing equipment designed for the operation. His suit is pressurised to 3.7 pounds per square inch.
