Feb. 26 Skylab takes shape: Technicians at Huntington beach, California, prepare a full-scale version of this Skylab. The stage will be subjected to acoustic, vibration and static forces comparable to those during launch and orbit. It is a structural simulation of actual Skylab workshop in which crews of astronauts will live and work for periods of up to 56 days in earth orbit. Workshop under development at McDonnell Douglas, is scheduled for 1972 launch as nation's first space station. Test stage is 50 feet long, 21.7 feet in diameter and weighs 27 1/2 tons
