Mar. 22 Latest in Space race robots: Space explorers may soon work from vehicles resembling this self propelled, two fisted platform which is shown in mock up form in Mishawaka, Indiana. The vehicle designed by the Bendix company would allow an astronaut a range of up to 3 miles from base to perform such missions as assembly of structures in orbit, rescue of marooned space travellers and inspection of orbiting objects. Equipments includes two television cameras, adhesive pads to anchor the platform to other objects in space and electrically powered mechanical hands
