Oct. 10, 1967 - Soviet spaceman sees Britain's giant radio telescope at Jodrell Bank: Soviet cosmonaut Lt. Col. Valery Bykovsky who is currently on a seven day visit to this country, today paid a visit to Jodrell Bank, where he saw Britain's giant radio telescope. In 1963 Bykovsky was launched into space aboard Vostok 5, and was joined two days later by the Soviet woman cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova in Vostok 6. Photo shows Soviet cosmonaut Lieut. Col. Valery Bykovksy is seen with Sir Bernard-Lovell during his visit to Jodrell Bank
