Jan. 05, 1970 - By etching fragments of lunar material collected by the Apollo 11 astronauts, scientists at the General Electric Research and Development Center have discovered that the rocks are riddled with tracks left by cosmic rays, charged particles that bombard the earth and moon ceaselessly from all directions in outer space.
