Mar. 03, 1969 - Apollo Crew All Set To Go. The Apollo-9 space flight look all set to take off - the three astronauts James McDivitt, David Scott and Russell Schweickart seem to have shaken off their colds. Photo Shows:- This drawing hows the Apollo 9 spacecraft command and service modules being held in position by astronaut David Scott as Lunar Module Pilot Russell Schweickart manoeuvres the ascent stage of the LM to the first manned rendezvous and docking about 150 miles above the surface of the earth. This is how it will be done in the actual lunar landing flight scheduled for sometime in July 1969. (Note: LM is at top of drawing)
