Jul. 07, 1971 - 13-year-old Simon Will join the British space experts at Cape Kennedy for Apollo 15 Blast off: 13-year-old Simon Cooper, at Worthing, Sussex, is the youngest member of the British Astronomical Association. It will be proud for him when he joins more than 100 leading space experts on a special charter flight to Cape Kennedy to see the Apollo 15 crew blast off on July 26th. He has persuaded his mother, widow, Mrs. Marjorie Cooper to go with him on the Florida trip which is costing her £250.
