Nov. 27, 1972 - Apollo -15 astronauts visit Yugoslavia: American astronauts David Scott, Alfred Warren and James Irvin, the crew of Apollo -15 moonflight, arrived in Yugoslavia on January 24th for a seventh day visit. While in Belgrade astronauts met with Yugoslav statesmen, held sessions with Yugoslav scientists and students, and for one evening were honorary guest of the Belgrade International Film Festival Fest 72'. Their 15 minute film The walk on the moon was shown withing the Festival programme. Photo shows Astronauts (L-r) James Irvin, Alfred Warden and David Scott enjoyed the company of cheerful Gipsy band, while being guests of Novi Sad, capital of Yugoslav Vojvodina province
