Athol Townley MP, visit to Bomber Command, RAF
Feb. 02, 1955 - Australian Air Minister Presents Trophy to RAF. The Australian Minister for Air and Civil Aviation, Mr. Athol Townley, MP, today visited Bomber Command and presented a trophy on behalf 460 squadron, Royal Australian Air Force. The trophy will be for annual competition among V Class bomber squadrons. It was received by the C. in C. Bomber Command, Air Marshal Sir George Mills.
